The system not only allows positive operator control, but it also can issue a shut down command if the operator and receiver are separated.
An example of this is the revolutionary wireless remote control solution delivered to WaveJet Personal Water Propulsion Systems. Using penetrating radio technology in the form of seatooth® S100, the solution maintains two-way communications between an operator wristband and tranceiver on a motorised surfboard, commanding an engine shutdown if the operator is separated from the board.
