How you can work with WFS
There are a variety of ways that you can work with WFS, from the purchase of standard product to a custom engineering solution for your specific project. You can work with us to investigate a possible solution to your application with a feasibility study, or if you want to add wireless capability to an existing product you could license our Intellectual Property (IP) or purchase our electronics at board level.
Below are the five most common ways we work with our customers. We have experience of delivering value through each of these models.
Purchase Components and Sub-systems
We can supply you with high-volume lower-cost OEM versions of WFS products (PCB/Electronics) that you can integrate with your end product to increase the capability and value of your finished product. For additional information on our OEM products and services, please contact us.
Standard Product
Dependant on your project requirements; range, depth, application type, it's likely that one of our standard modems will be suitable for your application. Our products can also be rented for contracted periods of time.
Custom Solution
WFS is specialist in the design and manufacture of custom engineering wireless solutions from concept and design through to prototype and production. In house design & manufacture allows a flexible response to customer requirements. We would be happy to provide a proposal to you, based on time and materials or with fixed pricing.
Feasibility study
WFS can work with you to prepare a comprehensive feasibility study which can be used to assess the technical and commercial viability of your potential project. If the results of the feasibility study are positive, then WFS can proceed to develop a custom solution for you.
License our IP
WFS maintains competitive advantage by making intellectual property a key part of our business. We have over 200 patent applications worldwide (30+ granted to date) in our areas of expertise. We are continually innovating and will defend or enforce our IP rights . This gives our customers confidence that they are dealing with world experts who have a strong competitive position.
