In the event of a system failure, Seatooth® enables ROVs to take control of drilling, intervention and production equipment without requiring a physical connection. As well as measuring variables such as temperature and pressure, Seatooth® can wirelessly initiate an emergency disconnect sequence, a valve actuation, or trigger an alarm allowing immediate action. Subsea video cameras can also be used for visual checks, using Seatooth® technology to transmit compressed video files wirelessly.
